Dear Parents, 

In Reception class next week we will begin learning all about Chinese New Year. As part of this exciting topic we will be having a fabulous dressing up day on Wednesday 29th January! We will be turning our classroom into a Chinese restaurant, sampling delicious Chinese food, joining in with an amazing Chinese dragon dance, and making Chinese dragon puppets!!!! Here are some ideas for your child's dressing up costume: Chinese dragon; traditional Chinese dress; a Chinese zodiac animal (Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig). We hope that you and your child have lots of fun preparing their costume!
